HR Management Club Hosts the HR Director from Big Sky Resort as Guest Speaker

As a part of the HR Management Club’s Hospitality series, they are hosting Jamie Hamp, the HR Director at the Big Sky Resort at their next meeting on Wednesday, March 31 at 5:30 pm in Reid Hall 202. Orser Speakers Forum Features The ArmorAll Story on March 25

The Spring Orser Speakers Forum will host Alan Rypinski, the man who launched a once obscure chemical product called ArmorAll into a $150 million international brand with only a $5,000 investment and creative marketing. Featured by Advertising Age as a “Superstar of Marketing,” Rypinski will share his experiences about his business endeavors. The event will take place on Thursday, March 25 from 4:10-5:00 pm in the Procrastinator Theater on the MSU Campus (Strand Union Building).

Rypinski was inducted into the “Marketing Hall of Fame” by Advertising Age and Business Week for his business endeavors. He launched the kids’ phenomenon “World Pog Federation” and a veteran of consumer product start-ups, he also founded “Wrinkle Free,” “Lasting Endearments” and the “Internet Tool Box.”

In its 21st year, the David Orser Executive Speakers Forum brings accomplished and inspiring professionals to MSU’s College of Business to deliver large, open-forum lectures and to share their expertise and experience with students in the classroom. David B. Orser, a 1966 MSU graduate, began funding the program in 1988 to inspire MSU business students to pursue careers as innovative, responsible and ethical business leaders.

American Bank to host Student/Professional Mixer on March 23

All MSU College of Business students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the student/professional Mixer on March 23 from 5:30-7:00 pm. The mixer is hosted by American Bank will take place at the bank on 1632 West Main Street. Refreshments will be provided. If you wish to attend, please sign up in the Bracken Center (4th floor Reid Hall) no later than March 12.
